Just touching base with projects and deadlines:
- Both: I didn’t see posts about what you each did last week on the intern blog – could you get that up there today/tonight?
- Both: have you touched base with Beth about your work with One Book? Do you have a new deadline?
- Laurren – how is playing around with Publisher going? You shared that great piece you did for school, so I imagine you’re feeling confident with the software?
- Anita: The Tween Task Force is meeting on 2/26 from 9:30-11:30 (not sure where yet.) Will you be able to attend? I should be there, so if it’s up in Sewickley, I can drive. It might be in Oakland at CLP-Main. Also, have you finished the research about what other libraries around the country are doing with tweens? Will you have the ‘case for tweens’ and reading lists on the wiki finished?
- Anita: How is the pageflakes/netvibes project going? I’d really like to see it ASAP to see if we can use it and if so, I’ll need to start adding links because I’m already doing that on our wiki.
- Both: This is also the month to be working on letters of support. We need to get on that! Check the wiki for details – I’d like letters mailed out by the end of the month – and you’ll need to run them by me before sending. You’ll also need to print them out here at the office on letterhead.
- Both: How are arrangements going on the library visits? Any firm plans?
- Both: We also need to be working on creating the Readers’ Theatre page of links and resources. That workshop is mid-March so
- Laurren: And the performers’ directory needs to be finished by the end of March – how’s that coming?
- Both: Will either or both of you be at Friday’s all-day workshop in Green Tree?
- Both: You’re both coming to the Opera Offices visit on Thursday AM, right? We’ll need to leave the ACLA offices by 9 that morning.
For the projects with ‘both’ – why don’t you decide who will be responsible for what? The visits you both need to do, but there are other projects you can divide up.
Also, time sheets are due at noon on Wednesday! $$$$$$$ Don’t forget to include your bookmobile hours!
